Day 1: Check into luxury mountain home between 12-5. Get settled in and meet fellow adventurers. First group dinner will be a BBQ on the beach watching the sunset.
Day 2: Coffee and a workout on the beach. followed by breakfast. A short break to relax and enjoy the views before we get acclimatized by hiking up to one of Tahoe's many hidden alpine lakes. Tucked into a glacially carved bowl high above Lake Tahoe, you'll find upper Angora Lake. To access the lake, you'll need to take a one mile uphill hike. There is a large sandy beach with plenty of shallow water for lounging and plenty of different sized rocks and cliffs just begging to be jumped off of.
Day 3: Hike Mt. Tallac. One of the more scenic and challenging hikes in the South Tahoe area with incredible views of the Desolation Wilderness and Lake Tahoe itself. The classic 9½ mile out-and-back day hike to Mount Tallac begins at the trailhead on the southwestern side of Lake Tahoe, between Emerald Bay and Camp Richardson. The route begins through light forest before heading up to a ridgeline which follows alongside the shores of Fallen Leaf Lake before you scramble to the summit for some great views.
Day 4: Wake up early for a great workout on the beach and breakfast before we head to Sand Harbor State Park to Stand up Paddle board. The beauty of the clean, clear water at Lake Tahoe is second to none and the natural colors, water clarity and depth is astounding. Paddling roughly 7 miles to Kings beach we will explore the granite boulders and sandy beaches of Tahoe's east shores.
Day 5: Mt Bike the world famous flume trail. The Flume Trail Mountain Bike Ride is a moderate one way 14 mile ride at 7000′ to 8100′ feet in elevation with over a 1000′ of climbing in the first four miles and 4.5 miles of glorious single track. The Flume Trail itself traverses above several steep sections, so those looking for a life with adventure, you're welcome. In this world, most spectacular vistas require traversing steep terrain.
Day 6: Beach workout (optional) Breakfast and depart.
